Market Update| February 2023
January stats show that inventory was down along with the number of closings and close price. It also shows that properties are staying on the market longer. The market has begun to shift to our normal spring market with more multiple offers on homes. What we should see for the February stats are a higher close price, more inventory, and shorter days on market. The window of opportunity I’ve been talking about for the last 6 months is starting to close. We’ll see how the interest rates will affect the market over the next few months. The buying season is just starting; if you’re in the market to sell, sooner then later is probably best!
